Sasha A.Dudare Bass is a South Florida born interdisciplinary artist currently working in Boston. Sasha's work plays upon the focus of intimate moments of watchfulness over themselves through the eyes of someone who has a disconnect between their internal and external self — capturing moments through a distorted haze of time. Currently with a strong focus in cast iron, Sasha intertwines the process of rusting with the natural deterioration of the human body and spirit — constantly breaking down, changing — both in cast and painted form — a piece will never look the same at any point in its lifetime.
Presently, they are a Dual Sculpture & Illustration BFA candidate at Massachusetts College of Design. Press and exhibition for their work includes Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark, Seeds Literary Arts Magazine, and Vision Magazine.
